Obviously my request for Eagle PIC18Fx parts was not interesting &
exciting enough to cause the torrent of replies that I had hoped would

So I have another more general question:

Is there a documented list of 'best practices' for the creation of Eagle
library parts? Or even rough howto's showing what other people have
done?
Is there a 'Library manager' available that makes managing eagle
libraries a nightmare - I have read that it is expected that scripts
will be written by the end user, this seems to be a complicated &
difficult way to go about it=2E

On the plus side the limited time I have spent with Eagle has left me
really impressed, its quick & easy to use & runs flawlessly on both
windows & better still linux=2E
