Couldn't you just include a few relevant lines of the post you are
replying to in the reply instead of linking to it?  Usually a sentence or
two is all that's needed to understand the context.  Your method is a
hassle, especially when reading mail offline, and sometimes there is a
problem with the piclist.com server.  Yes I know, James does this too, but
that doesn't make it a good habit to pick up.

I would just add the definition of MPLABDIR to the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
It's already got the definition of EMBEDINC and the modification to PATH
in it.

This should have been featured more prominently with better error
messages, as it is now.  We'll just have to wait and see what problem the
