We are working on something like that now, but it's not ready for general release. It will be something that we can freely give to customers who want to build our code themselves, without being a major intrusion on their machine (like all the Java stuff you mentioned). It will also be layered on our OS portability interface and can therefore make use of our special file name handling. Our stuff used to all be built from the Apollo DSEE environment.
