I saw some really spiffy micros from Mitsubishi about 2 weeks back, but I
couldn't find a supplier... Well, not in North America.  It seems that
Mitsubishi is primarily concerned with Japan and Eastern Asia.

But today, when I went back to have a look, and have another go at finding
suppliers, I found that Mitsubishi has transferred their semiconductor
operations (along with Hitatchi) to some company called Renesas as of April
1st.

Does anyone know if this means that there will be a supplier available soon?
