I could see how you could do this with ISA...but aren't you too constrained within PCI architecture to do this? I presume what you want to do is activate a signal on the PCI bus that will effectively suspend/halt the CPU or similar? -marc On 1/4/03 12:44, "Octavio" wrote: > I already have a ISA card working but now I NEED > a PCI one. >=20 > I really don't need the card to do anything else > Than locking the PC, It doesn't even need to be recognised > as a PCI card by Windows. >=20 > Octavio Nogueira > Tato Equipamentos Eletr=F4nicos Ltda > (11) 5506-5335 > =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D > nogueira@tato.ind.br ICQ# 19841898 > BASIC Step - O microcontrolador mais f=E1cil do mercado > www.tato.ind.br > ProPic tools - low cost PIC programmer and emulator > http://www.propic2.com > =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D >=20 > -----Mensagem original----- > De: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] > Em nome de Jai Dhar > Enviada em: ter=E7a-feira, 1 de abril de 2003 14:34 > Para: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU > Assunto: Re: [OT]:PCI slot question. >=20 >=20 > Can't directly answer your question, but I know that PCI hardware is > VERY hard=20 > to build.
