I see Lynx for DOS, but not Lynx that's included in most (if not all) linux distributions. Also, I saw SlipKnot, which is the first graphic browser I used. It's designed to be used where there is no SLIP (from before PPP was popular) protocol. Instead, a user would log into his/her shell account and rul SlipKnot on their machine. SlikKnot would send shell commands to have Lynx go out and get the file, then use zmodem to send it back. SlipKnot would then build the graphical page. To speed things up (and increase net traffic), it'd "look ahead", preloading pages linked to from the current page. Harold ---------- "Peter L. Peres" writes: Wrong.
