I think Gene Hackman has the right idea. He goes to work, does his jo= b (very well, IMO), doesn't do interviews or "celebrity shows", keeps h= is mouth shut and collects his Oscars. In other words, he's a *professio= nal* actor and behaves like one. What makes these celebrities think any of us care what their opinions= are or that they're any smarter or relevant than the you or me or the guy= driving the city trash collection truck? Personally, I like the Dixie Chicks music, but I really don't care wh= at they think about the war. They probably shoulda kept their mouths shut. Pu= blicity can be a two-edged sword...
