Has anyone used the new Lithium Polymer batteries yet? They seem to be the only thing out there that can compete with NiMH for capacity per mass at high current drains (>1C). Surely the "regular" Li-ion cells have similar capacity? I guess they're a bit scarier to actually use, whereas the li-poly holds the potential for being available to ordinary consumers. I found one company that claims to make them (Ultralife) but when I called one of their distributors, they said they would have to get back to me and have not done so yet. There was some discussion here back in february; bare-ish li-poly batteries are already being sold in the (ultralight) model airplane community: http://www.b-p-p.com/products.htm BillW -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
