Hi all, Here again trying to get some opinions to develop a 2 colum by 14 rows board to show a 5 digit number ( may have a decimal point in any place ) What I need to do is: 1.- The board ready to show 2 columns by 14 rows of numbers up to 5 digits containing a decimal point in any place. 2.- The numbers must be saved in a eeprom 3.- The numbers must be typed in a computer (windows based programs) and then transferred to the board via a com port, then saved and showed each time the board is turned on.. The questions are: 1.- To make a led array for each row or use 10 x 7 segment leds ? 2.- In wich case the hardware will be more complicated ? 3.- Where can I find a sample on how to handle an array of leds ? All suggestions are welcome. Regards, Augusto -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY! [EE]:,[OT]: ->Other [BUY]:,[AD]: ->Ads
