Hi,
I have searched the PIC Archive and Google,
but have found conflicting information. I have a couple
simple questions, but not for me :)

I am powering two small hobby motors (4AA 1.6A NiMH bat)
(3V, normal current 0.35A, stall 1.4A)
with an SN754410NE Dual H Bridge IC.

Question 1.) Do I need protection doides or not,
Some sites say yes some say no. If so what would
be good values to use ?

Question 2.) Should I put a mylar cap across the motor
terminals, and again what would a good value be, I have
seen 0.1uf used in some cases.
