Re: PCB Cutters Although seemingly without end, the topic of PCB Cutting has some new tools. The Late Winter 2003 Micro-Mark catalog shows two new cutters on its back page. 1. A shear and bending break for sheet metal w/ 7.5 in. wide capacity, @ $175 US. 2. A "slicer"-type shear for light metals & plastics, 6 in. width of cut, @ $85 US. www.micromark.com [As a side note, I have switched to cutting pcbs using a large hand-tin snips having straight blades. This is, of course for straight, perimeter cuts.] I have ordered small drills and taps from them and was satisfied with the quality of materials. They offer much more for the metal-working enthusiast and for the hobbyist - up to a bench lathe and milling machine. Dremel tools too.
