LOL I have done this with other sites that use various pop up adverts, but
there are some that seem to circumvent this somehow, I suspect that there is
some form of server side push into the advert window that circumvents using
the hosts file, as adverts still pop up from sites I have added to the hosts
file.

I must try it with the one Yahoo puts up, I had not done it with these
because of the previous experience with ones that would still come up.
