If you're controlling air pressure, you might want to
look at www.pnutek.com for a finished product at a reasonable
cost. These have 2 solenoid valves for "feed & bleed" that are
pulse width controlled. Options are available for 0-10V, 0-20ma,
and I think RS-232 or RS-485 on the bigger unit.
We have just picked up a few of these and should get them hooked
up "any day now".
They appear to be PIC based, but the numbers have been filed off.

Of course, whether these suit your application depends on your
application.
