Hey guys,
I bought 2 laptop displays for cheap a few weeks ago. I found several
controllers which will drive them from a standard VGA signal; some include
S-Video or composite inputs. However, I can't figure out how to get ahold of
these units! I went to the manufacturer's site and sent in a quote request,
getting back a list of distributors. Some of these distributors make it
impossible to find information on their site. Several others never responded
to my inquiries. I guess they're unwilling to supply in small numbers, even
for prototype applications. Does anyone have any tips for obtaining
controllers?

FWIW, I've been looking at Digital View's line of controllers
(http://www.digitalview.com). These controllers:
For LP157E1 TFT -
SVP-1280
SVP-1600
For LP141XA TFT -
AC-1024v3
SV-1024
ACL-1024
ACM-1024
AV-1024

Basically I've gotten no where. Should I just keep persisting to the
distributors, or is there another course of action? I suppose if anyone knows
how LVDS interfaces work, I could get to work writing code...
