Heard about that last year. Michael Covington, who used to write a
column was trying to find out the status of the published material, and
another person told him this (date is December 2002):

Personally, I think it was a waste of low-grade paper and valuable
newsstand space for many years, so good riddance. Unfortunately there
are not a lot of other hobbyist-oriented magazines out there, but what's
out there is generally better quality. N&V and the European magazines,
for example.
