Still, I would not put unprotected power through it. There are lots of tiny high quality connectors available, if you have some money (Lemo, Canon etc) or are buying quantity. Otherwise imho stick with something widely available. The PS/2 style mini DIN is widely available and small enough for six (or eight) contacts, and only requires a simple round hole (instead of the strange dies required to mount other miniature connectors).
