I have ordered several times from Jameco with fast dependable service, amd a
couple of times with Digi Key. Look for  a 74c925. it is not a TTL IC but a 4
x 4 matric keypad circuit.  t might be a 923 but I think they still stock the
925

One other source is to look at the Pic X1 documentaiona and sample code on
the
