I get hundreds of little files accumulating in my email client's attach directory each month and I have to go through and toss the junk manually. Having meaningful filenames and extensions just makes that job easier. However, something to consider is that if the code snippet is short (less than a couple of hundred lines), just include it within the body of the email message. I find that to be the most convenient of all. dwayne PS - if your windows installation doesn't have the extension .ASM associated with anything, then just do it yourself. Doesn't take more than a few seconds of your time, and you only have to do it once! dwayne -- Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax Celebrating 19 years of Engineering Innovation (1984 - 2003) .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .- `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' Do NOT send unsolicited commercial email to this email address.
