This reply DID bring up a possibly acceptable suggestion. I saw on a web site recently that a neon indicator lamp "can ?" be used as a radiation detector (beta and gamma only IIRC) if biased close to conduction. So - how about a PIC derived "radiation counter". PWM could be used to generate the 80 odd volts required for the neon and an LCD display to show the results. Pleanty of playing around with ADCs & control loops required to measure & stabilise the bias voltage & then you have to fit in driving a display. Sounds like a good "learner" project. Richard P "M. Then you spend a year designing a WOMDD Jammer, and rake in the dough. If you still aren't rich by then (or dead, or in some lush gov't job) then you'd absolutely make a killing with the WOMDDJ Disarmer. Further developments along these lines are left as an excersize for the reader. -Adam * Weapons Of Mass Destruction Raju George wrote: > hi every body > 'm new is this world of microcontroller esp PIC , 'm an > enginnering student and i like to do a mini project using PIC > please help me to get circuit of some interesting innovative > useful latest PIC project ( with circuits). > thankyou > > -- > http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: > [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
