20265 is a Varitronix 2 x 20 unit.

1 44780 + 2 x 44100 means;

The 44780 can drive up to 2 x 8 LCD chars,
The first 44100 complements the 44780 in the first bank, so the display
goes up to 2 x 16 chars.
The second 44100 drievs the whole second set of 2 x 16 chars, so the
display can drive up to 2 x 32 chars

This model 20265 drives only 2 x 20 chars.
The connector pin 15 and 16 are used to drive power to the BackLight if
existent.
