take the datasheet of any 44780 based lcd and connect it like that. on all lcd's i've seen, pinout 1-14 is the same (15 and 16 are sometimes used for backlight) for a first try, connect pin3 (Vo) to gnd. if nothing appears on the display, connect it to -1.5v. you could also search google with the number 20265. the 4 pins on the opposite side could be backlight or, if the display has more than 80 characters, additional select lines. tino Pang Gesendet von: pic microcontroller discussion list 17.02.03 07:25 Bitte antworten an pic microcontroller discussion list An: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Kopie: Thema: [OT]:How to obtain spec for a LCD module? There is a Made in Hong Kong sign and three Hitachi chips at the back HD44100FS x 2 and HD44780A00. -. There is a VL sign printed on the PCB -.
