has anyone used a cup tipped solder tip for soldering
an SMD chip?

does this work?  And what temperature do you set the
iron on?  and when you apply flux, do you just squirt the
stuff all over the pins and pads, or what?

oh yeah, I was going to glue the chip down first, I was going
to use testors model glue, will this work, or what kind of glue
do you need?
