Jinx, you might try renaming your password file in the Windows directory. Do a search for *.pwl. On my system, the file is named Patrickm.pwl. Renaming it Patrickm.pwx would mean the next time I log in the logon screen would show up; there do not enter a password and in the future no logon screen should display. Your Dial-Up-Networking password is linked to and perhaps stored in the .pwl file; I don't know. You may need to add a new Dial-Up-Networking icon afterwards so that it is associated with the current password-less logon. You could also just delete the .pwl file - rather than renaming it (nowadays I just delete them) but this way, the first time through you can restore your original setting if desired. This is about all that I know about this subject, but I hope it helps. Patrick Murphy James Valley Colony Jinx wrote: > > The BIOS password does indeed work.
