Less than telephone quality:-

"The  high fidelity  ISD1012 provides 12 seconds of 4.5kHz bandwidth
audio, the 1016 has 16 seconds of 3.4kHz bandwidth audio, and the 1020
gives 20 seconds of 2.7kHz bandwidth audio capacity."
