[I.e., label, a ref. to OT] Aye. Well aware of that missive. Even James has had that quoted to him (even though he wrote it :-) ) on occasions when he has waxed especially fervent. > And ... could it be your be your ennui has more to do with the vagaries > of "content" vs. "message," w.r.t. political expression? Just a > thought. I'm lost, I admit. Can't turn that question into something my brain will parse :-). I was, I think, a bit sad that the opportunities which had been offered heretofore for careful and polite discussion on very important topics which ventured into world political, rather than party political, were not being allowed here. The world is being cast essntially headlong into a foray in which all will emerge, of those who emerge at all, worse off. The last REALLY big discussion of this sort onlist (just under 17 months ago) caused James much pain eventually and I certainly don't want that to happen again. > >RM is for short throw aways > >Full sig for a little thought. > >You are always welcome to throw theseway as well :-) > > Russell, the above post script, a conundrum? unintended > perhaps a dido? too erudite for me - or at least, nothing Carthagian or suicidal about my intent :-) > at the extreme, auteur? mayhaps, but not intended. I am director on my own stage (sometimes :-) ) and others may join or allow me to strut upon theirs as they wish. I don't think of got much more than usual aspiration to direct all others. Some may disagree :-) (Some do). More a product of a typo and a little whimsy. I simply meant that you had titled me RM at the start. I usually use RM for a few line comment, perhaps a throw-away or a quick bit of off the cuff technical advice that probably didn't take any research. If I have to think or type or (more relevantly) if someone is liable to follow the thread for education and my input may be a useful part of the whole, then I usually use a full signature so they know who to blame. I think the conversation from which his started had a full sig but ended up with an RM attribution. > Curious. Me too :-) Russell -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways. See http://www.piclist.com/#archives for details.
