It's part of the evolution of man. Many of the smartest and more solitary of animals are hunters and nocturnal. Thousands of years of farming culture has forced man into a daylight regime, but now with electric lights etc we can develop further. Those who prefer living in the stillness of night have often been shunned or persecuted (ie the stupid "vampire" myth) but it is now slowly becoming more accepted that "thinking" workers may prefer to do their work during the nights. I also disagree with the doctors that general lack of UV always causes depression, I think there is a definite *phase* of adaptation where depression is a side effect and once the phase is complete the night becomes the preferred waking period and the day becomes something of a hot, bright annoyance. But then I like taking a contrary view to established opinion so what would I know? -Roman -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
