PIC-Listers, If I may ... w.r.t. RM's concerns of James Newton's administrative censure: I am an infrequent poster on this list and come to it for its specialized attention of PICs and related E.E. topics, not contemporary political-related harangues driven by our sometimes mad mad world. I too have those opinions but stuff 'em when on this venue. The otherwise esteemed RM may be allowing the bar too low by advocating "any and all," er, seemingly doing so. I welcome his return to the "core" matters of this list, moreover, I applaud it. How about it, Russell? James had a choice to make and I'm almost certain he did what he thought was best for the health of the List: "Keep it PIC Or Else." Who's to say that if those so banished were to reapply in good form, that they will thus be readmitted, yea, even welcomed by PIC List cohorts? Considering the above and other comment thus far, James has my support. He's, as James noted, gone. 1. Can't quite see the difference in the general sense. I'm not a frequenter of chat rooms but, if I understand the concept properly (always suspect :-) ), - this IS essentially a chat room * that has a number of permanent reasonably well defined core threads and one rather ubiquitous ill defined core thread. RM * Everyone is always logged on here - the messages come to you instead of you going to them. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
