I agree. I have been trying the 'simple' way using the MSSP, and still have had relatively low success. I can still manage to get a successful ACK, but for some reason, when I read from my Slave, it keeps reading the slave's address into SSPBUF? Odd. I will keep rying tho. Quoting "dr.
