G'Day, Can some one please tell me how to "fill" a memory chip? I am working my way through some of the audio playback notes on http://www.= piclist.com in an effort to overcome the failings of the APR voice chip I = have been using. I've got my messages saved on my PC as .wav files, and can play with = editing the bit rate etc to suit my PIC coding, but I'm wondering how to = get the data into the memory chip for the PIC to play them back. I cannot pretend to fully understand how all the speech works, but I = understand it at a "block level" and need to start drilling down so I can = implement it. What I want to accomplish... a series of short messages (words and sounds) the PIC (I have F84, and F628) will play the messages based on user input, = and program flow. I see similar things on the website owned by Roman Black, so it must be = being accomplished somehow.... Many thanks in advance, Des Bromilow Brisbane OZ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways. See http://www.piclist.com/#archives for details.
