Hi, just looking in the 16F62x datasheet page 102 "time out sequence" and quote; "if MCLR is kept low long enough the time outs will expire. Then bringing MCLR high will begin execution immediately (see figure 14-11). This is useful for testing purposes or to synchronise more than one 16F62x device operating in parallel" This seems to be common for most of the PICs, so assuming they can all be clocked simultaneously from an ext oscillator, and synchronised as described, it would be possible to build a parallel processor using some common bus pins etc. But would it be useful for anything? -Roman -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
