I'm a little confused about what a schimdt trigger is exactly.

But, I am using a compactflash card experiment board,
and one of the pins on port c is being over ridden as an
input, that is I assign trisC = 0, to make all pins out puts,
and one pin, pin 5 is still an input, made so by hardware,

can you shut this off, to make it not get over ridden?
