More seriously, I think any proper liquid measuring
system should keep one step removed from liquid
properties, *especially* liquid electrical properties.
Maybe ulrasonic ranging to the top of the liquid, or
pressure tube bubbling through the liquid, or even
float levels etc all seem to be more reliable systems
than conductivity or capacitance testing, and much
more sensible than your typical bootle test... ;o)
