Good suggestion, I'll look into picking a couple up. Thanks to everyone on their ideas and suggestions. -Tim -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] On Behalf Of Olin Lathrop Sent: Friday, January 31, 2003 6:40 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [PIC]: Differences between 16F873 and 16F872 > I'm currently working on a project that's using a PIC16F872 > as its heart and soul, but I'm finding I'm quickly running out of > program space. From what I can tell from > the specs these are the differences: If this is a hobby or low volume project, don't waste time with the lesser members of a PIC family. In this case use the 16F876. It's useful to develop with this even if it ends up being a high volume product. Once you're done, you can figure out exactly which lesser member of the family will do. ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
