I have some promotional material from NASA Dryden that says that the X-36 is powered by a Williams International F112 Turbofan engine rated at 700 lbs. thrust. The performance characteristics are: Speed: 52-200 knots Altitude: 20,000+ ft. Duration: 30-45 minutes I haven't seen the Discovery Channel show yet. Apparently, it is part of NASA Dryden's inactive fleet, and it will cost you some $$$ to get them to rebuild one.
