Another comment. ________________________________________ Russell, I have and still use my HP45 which I purchased at horrendous expense when I was in the 7th form (25+ years ago). The NiCd's died long ago and the plugpack power supply connector has been repaired a dozen times, and some segments of the LED's have variable brightness, but overall it still works well. I also have a current model HP RPN calculator which I purchased on special at Frys when I was in California but it suffers from rampant featuritis and has an LCD screen which is diffcult to see if the viewing angle is low. Except for the need to plug it in, I much prefer to use my HP45 for most things. Sadly, I have been unable to convince my kids of the benfits of RPN - they just look at me as though I am from another planet.
