Hi all,

I am new to PIC's and micros. I have an 18F252 with bootloader installed =
on chip, set up for a 10MHz xtal. I am looking for a PC (winXP) host =
program with which I can bootload files onto the chip.

My understanding is that the bootcode on the chip is specific to a =
certain frequency crystal as is the bootloader. Is this correct?

I am having problems finding one that suits both the 18Fx52 chips and a =
10MHz xtal. I would also like to be able to use 4MHz and 20MHz at some =
stage, is there a software that can adapt to different frequency =
crystals?
