Thanks to 'yall I am now sure I want to stick with the good 'ol 628 for my current top-o-the-list project. I'll be digging into the archives in a while here, because this one uses the 44 pin TQFP 18F452 plus 2 ea. of the F628's in SO. I got to cut out a bunch of old logic hardware, but now face the "how many OSC's?" question....In any case, it sure shrinks the design a lot!
