Often, I'll grab the book version of the chip I'm working with and take the kids down the beach and read up on the relevant sections. More portable than printed pages. I'll use printouts in my project file - complete with notes, scribbles and doodles! :-) I'd call your Microchip distributor and ask how you can get copies of the printed datasheets for the devices you are working on. Tell em' you're gonna use heaps of that particular device!
