(Forgot the PIC-tag when posting this yesterday...)

Hi.
Some time ago, there was some posts about extending the
digital I/O of a PIC. 74-series shift regs was one solution.

I'v seen that Microchip has someting called
"16 bit I2C bus expander", part no MCP23016.
