All these units will only write to an "Audio CD" only. This is a blank CD-ROM specifically encoded for these machines and the machines will not write to any ordinary CD-ROM. The idea is that the manufacturer of the discs will charge a premium and a royalty is paid to the artists. What I want to know, is how do they know which artists to give my 50c to? :-) I also believe that most of them incorporate SCMS in their machines - or at least they are supposed to! :-) I have also heard that there are ways to 'trick' these decks into writing to regular CD-ROMS. :-) Regards, Sean -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
