Hi, I was wondering if someone could check diagram and see if I did
everything right.

The 2.5mm jack is connected to a dc wall connector and its input is
about 12v. The circuit should handle reversible + - leads on the plug,
and I'm hoping it will be a stable 5v

As I am new to electronics (and still can't afford a oscilloscope scope)
I was hoping someone with some experience could tell me if my caps and
resistors were right.

The diode on the end is an LED.
