I'd forgotten about them - I normally buy all the Microchip stuff from Future.

It's for (if you hadn't guessed) for my PicStart+ so I can flip back to
version 2.3 of
the programming firmware for use with MPLAB 5.5, as the latest firmware doesn't
connect to the 16 bit MPLAB without throwing a tantrum every few seconds. When
I asked Microchip support they just told me to buy another chip!  They
offered no
explanation on why you can't use the old MPLAB with the new firmware. This is a
real pain because the old firmware doesn't support the 12F6xx and the new MPLAB
doesn't support the 12C509! Someone at Microchip really needs to get this
sorted.
