Here is a quick run down of my current project: http://www.vi2.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28 My budget is tight... just a hobby and only have the minimum to spare. I've been studying programming for a long time, but assembly is new to me. I'd prefer to start with asm and quickly move into something like c or basic. My goal is to learn to program the PIC with pretty good understanding of whats going on. I need to learn to do things like software PWM and such. I've been looking at PICC, the free version and MLabs... I would like to hear about what peoples opinion are on various languages. In particular I'm interested in hearing what people have to say about PICBasic and PICC Thanks...
