Has anyone built a reradiating aerial for their GPS units? The one's =
advertised are designed for indoor use or in a car. I am interested in =
making one for outdoor use on my Magellan MAP330 which has no external =
aerial plug. I want to use it when I am geocaching in heavily treed =
areas, both for setting and finding caches. The basic requirements are =
light, good gain, and low power usage. Also the reradiated signal should =
not interfere with the incoming original satellite signals.

If anyone has made one, or has seen circuit diagrams on the net, I'd =
appreciate some pointers. Otherwise, I will probably convert a powered =
aerial into a reradiating aerial according to this article. =
