I use BestCrypt which supports a number of different (some weak [GOST, DES],
some strong [AES, TWOFISH]) encryption.

It's mildly pricey (~$90) but works very well.  I've used it on both
win2kPro and winXPPro

     I've been using PGPDisk as a form of storage for "secret" files,
but the last freeware version (6.02i) of PGPDisk doesn't supports above
2GB disks. Also it's not "recomended" for newer WindOSes (don't know
why) and don't have a Linux version. The new 8.0 version is expensive.

     Anyone is using other "Virtual Disk" encryption programs? Paragon
seens to be very good and it's not very expensive (US$29).

     Other suggestions?
