No, that is not generally true. To avoid all trouble, connect the
targets LVP pin to the appropriate Wisp628 line. For a socket that must
accept PICs that have LVP on different pins include a small diode
(1n4148) from each such pin to the Wisp628 LVP-pulldown line.
