Wind systems have significant inertia but wind gusts can also alter quite rapidly. Easy enough to do of course. Having a separate insolation measuring sensor as I mentioned before has the advantage that you don't need to wander to & fro across the optimum load point as the sensor tells you the true insolation and you can set the inverter parameters directly from that.
