Well I haven't used it to actually provide code to program a chip, but I have converted the routines from the 18F452 Picbook from assembler into Basic18, and the code produced is very very similar. The thing I like is that it is a structured basic - Pascally like and you can just combine ASM with basic instructions very easily. The HTML file producer is pretty neat to. In fact I like Basic 18 so much I'm actually going to pay for the upgrade.
