A quick glance at the programming specification doesn't indicate anything usual in terms of pins used for programming. You may need to doublecheck to ensure that the programming algorithm is exactly the same as the DIP/SSOP parts like the 18F452. In any case your best bet is to create an ICSP cable. A 40 pin jumper cable wired to a 8 or 10 pin header should be more than adequate.
