Donovan, Check this link he has good C info http://www.microchipc.com/reviews/Hi-Tech_C_PICC18/install.htm Andre Abelian -----Original Message----- Hello, I decided to try at the new MPLAB (v6.10) today. I am having some trouble getting proper compiler information from the Hi-Tech C compiler (v8.01). For example, if I mistype the name of a function, say foo2() instead of foo(), than the compiler breaks and reports a BUILD FAILED. I would expect it to issue an error indicating the problem and the line number where the problem was encountered. This type of compiler information works in the older version of MPLAB I was using. Is this type of compiler information simple yet implemented in MPLAB v6.10 or am I missing something? Regards, Donovan PS: My apologies for sending this without the [PIC] indicator the first time. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
