I decided to try at the new MPLAB (v6.10) today.  I am having some

getting proper compiler information from the Hi-Tech C compiler (v8.01).
For example, if I mistype the name of a function, say foo2() instead of
foo(), than the compiler breaks and reports a BUILD FAILED.  I would

it to issue an error indicating the problem and the line number where

problem was encountered.  This type of compiler information works in the
older version of MPLAB I was using.

Is this type of compiler information simple yet implemented in MPLAB
v6.10
